Frequently asked questions
LASHES
-
The Lash Extensions used are synthetic Mink, or Silk and are applied individually to the natural lash, with a medical grade adhesive, fume, latex and formaldehyde free.
-
A full set will last as long as your natural lash cycle, which is anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual. We recommend getting a fill anywhere between 3 and 4 weeks.
-
I can apply a beautiful Full Classic Set of lashes in 90 minutes, a Volume Set in 90-120 minutes. I ask you to generally plan on 60-75 minutes for a fill as well. We like to remove any grown out lashes, clean them up, and make your lashes look brand new every time you come in, this will ensure the retention and life of your extensions.
-
YES! Although we don’t recommend wearing any mascara that isn't extension safe or oil based products, as it will shorten the life of your lash extensions.
-
No! When applied properly, with perfect isolation and weight eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes.
I am experienced and certified, the most important thing to me is the integrity of your natural lash. During your initial consultation I will evaluate your natural lashes to ensure you get the lashes that work best for your natural lashes so that you will never have damage or breakage!
-
This is crucial to get the best retention possible!

There are a few things you should do in preparation for your appointment —as well as afterward:
Before Preparation
Shower prior to your appointment.
Wear comfortable clothing. You will lie down for 60 to 90 minutes with dimmed lights and soft music as your backdrop during your eyelash application; comfortable clothes will allow you to make the most of this time to relax and be pampered.
Remove your contacts. Your eyes will be closed during the application of your eyelash extensions. To avoid any discomfort, it is always suggested that contacts be removed, allowing eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state.
Lash After Care
I will send you home with a lash cleanser. It is important to wash your lash extensions two times a a.m. and p.m. you will take one pump of the lash cleanser and massage it over the lashes making sure you remove all your eye make up. Gently cutting your hands with some water you will let the water trickle down to remove the lash foam. After you’ve washed your lashes, you will dry them with a lint, free towel or paper towel and the last step you will take your mascara spoolie and gently fluff your lashes.
-
When applied correctly by an experienced and knowledgeable lash artist this is not a concern. I know what the appropriate length and weight are to apply to ensure that your natural lashes remain healthy.
I have over 10 years experience in the proper technique and have knowledge of what is best for your lash health, all while achieving the look you’re looking for.
-
You can most definitely wear make-up with your eyelash extensions. When selecting makeup products, it is always best to go with oil-free ones. However, remember to remove them with oil-free makeup remover and cleanse them using lash foam.
-
There are several types of eyelash extensions available, each offering a unique look:
Classic Lashes: Applied in a 1:1 ratio with one extension per natural lash, Classic lashes provide a subtle, natural boost, perfect for those seeking a refined enhancement.
Hybrid Lashes: A blend of Classic and Volume lashes, Hybrid lashes create a fuller look, ideal for those with thinner natural lashes or anyone wanting a slightly bolder effect.
Volume Lashes: Light and fluffy, Volume lashes deliver a fuller, more dramatic effect, ideal for those with sparse lashes, bald spots, or who simply want a lusher look.
Each style includes its own variations, and you can explore the full range of options on our Lash Services page.
-
During refills, we will remove some old lash extensions that are grown out and brittle and ready to come off. Your eyelash extensions weaken over time due to oil or other impurities.
After about three weeks, the bond between the natural lash and extension starts to become unstable and will be ready to come off. Therefore, 2- and 3-week refills are highly recommended to maintain and ensure the retention and life of your lash extensions.
-
It’s advised to clean your extensions twice a day, especially if you use makeup products because debris can build up around the lashes just like our skin. To clean them, simply apply a small amount of lash shampoo and with a cleaning brush and carefully cleanse the area. Then gently rinse your lashes and pat them dry with a lint free paper towel and brush them gently.
Bonus Tip: Sometimes, in the mornings, the lashes are all tangled and messy. Try washing your lashes with water in the morning and gently brushing the top side of the extensions with a finger placed beneath the lashes to help sort it out.
FACIALS
-
A facial is a family of skin treatments for the face that includes steam, exfoliation, extractions, creams, lotions facial masks, and massage. Used for general skin health.
-
A facial is designed to cleanse, exfoliate and nourish to skin to promote a clear, well hydrated skin.
-
Yes, I can not lift and pull you. But I can glow and hydrate you!
-
Yes. Before any facial is performed you must fill out paper work. The questionnaire will let the aesthetician know such things as; medications you are taking, any allergies, the products you use on your skin, recent procedures (e.g. injections, peels, laser) you have had on your face and what your biggest concern is with your skin.
Before the facial begins the aesthetician will perform a skin assessment to determine your skin type. After your skin type (dry, oily, sensitive, mature, dehydrated) has been determined the products used in your facial will be appropriate for your skin type.
-
Regardless of the type of facial you do, or the product line being used, a facial will only cleanse, hydrate, purify, promote a clear skin. A facial is a relaxing, pampering experience and will not treat a condition such as acne or rosacea (see #3 above). A facial is a healthy procedure for the skin but will not “cure” a skin. If you have one of the conditions mentioned above (#3) you need either medical intervention.
-
Yes, after talking about your skin care concerns I can customize a treatment plan for your skin
-
Yes, you can get a facial with eyelash extensions. We use eye pads to protect your lash extensions.
-
Everyday cleansing and moisturizing is a great way to keep your skin healthy, however, facials will take it to the next level. We deep clean your pores, exfoliate the dead skin off with enzymes, extract clogged pores and use a series of products that will leave your skin smooth, hydrated, and glowing. We will also include a facial massage to circulate blood flow and lymphatic drainage.
-
I offer Lactic enzyme peels, glycolic peels, green tea glycolic, and more.
-
Enzyme peels are a gentle exfoliating treatment that uses proteolytic enzymes to resurface the skin. These enzymes, derived from natural sources like papaya or pineapple, break down dead skin cells, revealing newer, smoother skin underneath. They are a less aggressive alternative to chemical peels and are often favored for sensitive skin.
-
Depending on your skin I recommend 4-6 weeks in between depending on the skin issue we are targeting.
-
Yes, many of my skincare treatments work well for sensitive skin. I’ll check your skin during the consultation and suggest the best treatments for you.
-
Wait a few hours after a facial before applying makeup so your skin can breathe and absorb the treatment. Sometimes, waiting a full day is better.
-
Facials focus on relaxation and pampering, while skin treatments aim for visible results. We offer both to match your goals.
-
After a facial, it is important to keep your skin hydrated and protected from the sun. I recommend using a gentle moisturizer and SPF daily, as well as avoiding harsh products or treatments for at least 24 hours.
-
Absolutely! I am trained to work with all skin types, including sensitive skin. I use gentle products and techniques to ensure your skin is not irritated during the facial.
Start slow and build to different treatments and Following good at home skincare.
-
I recommend stopping for a week before your treatments and then waiting 2-3 days after depending on the treatment you have done.
If you are having a deeper peel you will stop waxing and retina until your skin is healed. Which will be discussed at the time of your treatment.
-
Skin purging happens when you over load the skin that has not been prepared properly or can be from hormonal reasons.
